Review: Hard Rock Hotel Bali
Bali is easily our family’s favorite vacation destination. A mere 2 hours away from Singapore, Bali’s relaxed and chill environment puts us at ease immediately and we feel like we are on vacation from the moment we land.
In this post, we share about our stay at Hard Rock Hotel in Bali. The adjoining rooms we were assigned to were a tad aged. Hence, no photos of them. There are plenty of other accommodations along the Kuta stretch. Hard Rock Hotel Bali is one of the older ones. We chose it as we heard the pool is great and since we are in Bali, we have no intention to spend too much time in the room anyway.
Water Play and Pool Cabana
On our first day, we splurged on a cabana and the kids were thrilled to enjoy their own private space leading to the pool.
They were also thrilled by the cooler bag that came with the cabana and would have tore through the fruits, drinks and snacks if another more powerful attraction had not called out to them. Yes, the pool…
The pool was a warm body of fluid that enveloped us. We spent an enjoyable afternoon frolicking in the pool, playing ball games and just having fun with one another.
After a whole semester of admonishing, nagging and following up with the kids on their academics, it was a nice change of pace to indulge in their playfulness and be a “kid” with them instead.
The kids love to have their drinks at the pool bar with us adults. Limes were added to make their regular coke and sprite a pseudo-mocktail. And they could even nibble on bar-bites (french fries) if they were hungry.
The pool at Hard Rock Hotel was really a highlight of the hotel for the family. If you have kids aged between 2 to 10 years old, this pool does it justice to spend some time at Hard Rock Hotel.
The pool is also a nice place to come back to relax by after a day at the Kuta beach, just across the road (outside the hotel).
