New: Trio Oil Hair & Body Collection

It was a lovely evening. A private car was arranged to pick us up to take us to the beautiful and tranquil Villa Halia at Singapore Botanic Gardens for an evening of plant-powered pampering treats! We felt like royalty.

After being dropped off at the entrance of Botanic Gardens, it was a very pleasant walk to Villa Halia, passing by a water lily pond and a waterfall. It has been a long while since we last visited Botanic Gardens when the kids were toddlers. These days, we hang out more at the East Coast and Marina parks. I had forgotten how pretty Botanic Gardens is.

When we arrived at Villa Halia, the place had been charmingly transformed into a fairy prairie! We were here for the unveiling of Botaneco Garden’s new Trio Oil Hair & Body Collection under the Guardian umbrella.

Eco-conscious consumers and those afflicted with skin sensitivities will be very happy with this Trio Oil Hair & Body Collection. The Botaneco Garden Trio Oil Hair & Body range is infused with a combination of three 100% eco-certified exotic oils that are the next wave in moisturizing hair and skin care – Babassu Oil from Latin America, Baobab Oil from Africa and Chufa Oil from France.

Babassu oil contains five fatty acids as well as Vitamin E and phytosterols which act as antioxidant agents and is ideal for hair moisturization.

Baobab oil leaves the hair soft and silky while protecting it from damage caused by the sun and free radicals. Baobab oil is also an excellent skin moisturizer which absorbs quickly into the skin. An ancient beauty secret of Africa, it is laden with Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids that promote healthy skin and hair.

Chufa oil, a mainstay of Mediterranean beauty, also contains Omega 6 and 9, Vitamin E and is rich in antioxidants that fight free radicals to promote a more youthful appearance.

The Botaneco Garden Trio Oil Collection is believed to be among the first hair and body care ranges to harness the power of these exotic oils. Given the long hours spent in dry air-conditioned environments and the humid outdoors, skin and hair care in the tropics needs the added boost of moisturizers, which is why every variant in the Botaneco Garden Trio Oil Collection is further enriched with two additional moisturizers for five times the moisturizing benefits.

All three ranges of Body Cleansers, Hair Shampoos, Hair Conditioners and an amazing Hair Elixir are formulated with botanical ingredients, enriched with the unique Trio Oil blend. Formulated with eco-certified ingredients and dermatologically tested and proven, Botaneco Garden Trio Oil Collection is gentle and effective for creating spa or salon results at home, without the harshness of harmful chemicals like Parabens, Silicone, Soap, Colorant, Lanoline, and DEA.

In addition to three exotic oils, the Hair Elixir is enriched with Chamomile extract to deliver ten types of hair benefits. Among superior benefits from Hair Elixir are moisturizing and nourishing, conditioning, damage repair, detangling and improve hair manageability. This Hair Elixir also protects our hair from UV and delivers antioxidant benefits while maintaining hair shine as well as softening and anti-frizz.

The Botaneco Garden Trio Oil Collection is available nationwide at all Guardian outlets and its e-store. The prices are surprisingly very affordable as it ranges from S$2 to S$12.90 (pricing is inclusive of GST.)

It was a really fun night. We had the opportunity to concoct our own perfume at the DIY Perfume Bar (above) and build our very own mini terrarium (below).

Dinner was wonderful and the dessert was decadent! Taking our goodies with us, we did something we had not done in a long time! Take a romantic stroll through the Garden. Truly a very memorable night for us!
