Sentosa Buskers Festival 2013

One of the best events in Singapore to take your kids to!

It is FREE. It is FUN. It is a lot of LAUGHTER

Sentosa Buskers Festival 2013 is back for the fourth year with an awesome treat of local and international buskers! We were there for the opening festivities and caught one of our favorite acts Tuto Tul from Argentina – an interactive and funny circus and clown act that gave us stitches with his antics.

Click on the photo below to watch my son in his first busker act!

Not just for the young, even the adults are hugely entertained by the street performers!

For busker wannabes who yearn to try out circus acts, head to the interactive corner at the Beach Plaza where Circus in Motion, a local circus school will impart tips and skills to aspiring entertainers.

There are so many great performers scheduled – click here for the full schedule. I’ll let the pictorials below show you more of the local and international buskers. REALLY WORTH THE TIME TO SEE THEM!

Catch this amazing marching band of boys aged 8 – 16 dressed in uniforms reminiscent of the Royal Danish Guard complete with bearskin hats. These boys are here from 7 to 10 Sep only. Catch them quickly before they go home.

Sentosa Buskers Festival is from 7 to 15 September, 4:30pm – 10:30pm daily.

All performances will be staged along Merlion Plaza to Siloso Beach. There is no event admission. But please donate in the Buskers’ tin or hat to encourage their efforts.
