A Night of Magic With Joe Labero – Review & Giveaway
WHAT A MAGICAL NIGHT!!
A master illusionist, a seasoned performer and an extraordinary magician!
Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you: Joe Labero!
We were all very excited to see Joe Labero and his brand new fiery show assisted by the hottest guest performers and fire artistes – Burnt Out Punks. The four-time Merlin Award winner conjured hypnotizing illusions that promises to dazzle the audience at the beautiful Jubilee Hall theatre at Raffles Hotel in Singapore.
His opening acts involved an electric saw and Olga, his former assistant who was missing her head and upper torso!! His performances were very theatrical, very rock and roll and reminiscent of Las Vegas. We were completely blown away by his spectacular acts and charmed by his wit and MAGIC.
Joe Labero was very intimate with his audiences. He selected people in the audience randomly and got them involved in his acts. My hubby and I were very lucky to be called out to perform in his acts earlier in the evening, to the delight of our kids. I was impressed that at the end of the show, he remembered the names of all his participants, addressed and thanked them before closing the show.
My son, an aspiring magician, was in awe of the master and watched his moves very carefully to try to dissect his magic tricks to practice at home later. He was a bit disappointed though that he (nor any child) did not have the opportunity to go on stage to perform with this electrifying magician.
Each time we thought he had topped his performance, Joe Labero ups the ante and wow us further with a higher level act.
{Spoiler Alert} Some of the acts that amazed us include a mirror, a mobile phone and a 50 dollar note. We were also very impressed with his strait jacket “Jaws of Death” act. His final act was to catapult himself into oblivion. We found him waiting for us outside the theatre, where he charmingly obliged to pose for photos and sign autographs in the lobby.
It was an amazing night of entertainment and magic for our family. We enjoyed the show thoroughly and highly recommend it for any families with young aspiring magicians! Joe Labero will inspire you to try a trick or two.
