Review & Giveaway: Junior Claus Musical Tickets

Thanks to Singapore Repertory Theatre’s TLC for inviting us to watch the magical musical Junior Claus, we were able to start our holiday season early!

We are BIG fans of Santa and Christmas. So, it really doesn’t take much to put us into the festive mood. As soon as the stage curtains parted, we were transported into the magical land of North Pole. The festive songs, seeing Santa and Mrs. Claus, the elves and even the evil-plotting Grumpo lures you into the enchanting world that is Christmas!

You are further drawn into the adventures when the sanctity of Christmas is threatened by Junior Claus’ self-doubt which perpetuated the “Believe-O-Meter” (in Christmas and Santa Claus) to fall to a dangerous level. This plunge in belief thrust Santa into a deep, trance-like sleep which he could not be awoken from. It also prompted Junior Claus to flee from home riddled with guilt and further self-doubt. The courageous actions of a believing elf triggered a string of events that lead to young Claus’ journey of redemption.

Will Christmas be SAVED? 

You can’t help but want to cheer Junior Claus on.  This musical is more than just a feel-good play about Christmas. In classic TLC style, the musical imparts a deeper message on the element of family relationships — having faith and helping our young overcome their uncertainties and insecurities and finding the courage to believe in themselves. 

You will love the endearing characters like Pengy the Penguin and Chipper the Elf. The play is laced with funny one-liners and humorous dialogues. Enter our giveaway promotion (see below for more information) to catch the play with your juniors.

Junior Claus is staged at the DBS Arts Centre from 31 October to 14 December.
