2. Parks in the Garden City
Speaking of parks, did you know that Singapore has over 300 parks? And there are lots of things that you can do in these parks – for FREE. If you are a nature-lover or want your children to explore the great outdoors, the National Parks has a list of wonderful DIY-trail-guides for you to follow.
One of the highlights is Treetop Walking on a free-standing suspension bridge that connects the two highest points (Bukit Peirce and Bukit Kalang) in MacRitchie and offers a bird’s eye view of the community of plants and animals that live in the forest canopy.
And if you like the idea of treetop walking, you may also enjoy walking along the highest pedestrain bridge in Singapore, the Henderson Waves Bridge.
