Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay is a fantastic place to kick-start your festive celebrations. This is the largest Yuletide Fair on our sunny island that offers Singaporeans a taste of the European Christmas.

1.The Italian Luminarie Light Sculptures (Festive Grounds)

The star attraction has, and still is the dazzling 400,000 bulbs Luminarie Light Sculptures, which is a stunning 21-metre tall Spalliera inspired by the iconic towers of San Gimignano in Tuscany Italy.  These magnificent Italian luminaries created by skilled craftsmen using white wood from the south of Italy. It begins at the Golden Garden and extends throughout the festival sites.

Walk around and you will get lots of opportunities to create many Christmas memories with your family and friends. In the middle of the Spalliera is the gazebo stage where you can enjoy the Christmas spirit with choral performances by local talents in the likes of Inch Chua and Sam Driscoll.

2. Garden Rhapsody – the Christmas Special

Once night falls, the Supertrees come alive with a specially curated medley of beloved Christmas songs to get everyone into the Christmas spirit. Get your video ready because you will be enchanted by the dancing lights. Warning: your body might start grooving to the festive music.

3. Carnival Games and Rides

Enjoy the traditional carnival games with your families and friends. Ride the Christmas Train with your kids (2 tokens – S$4.00 per pax (one way). You can buy tokens from the Token Booths at the event site.

4. Festive Market and Christmas Cafe

Indulge in Christmas shopping at the Festive Market. You never know what treasures you may find. When you get hungry, check out the bite-sized delectable fare by Singapore’s trendiest establishments including Burger & Lobster, Brewerkz and Sinfonia Ristorante.

5. Santa’s Workshop and Christmas Parade

Back for the 6th year, this year-end holiday event returns with new highlights like a Christmas Parade and performances by the Meadow Theatre. Look out for a parade of colorful festive floats. Catch the Christmas Parade only on Fridays to Sundays, 8pm. Click here for the performance schedules.

Check out their official website: www.christmaswonderland.sg for more pictures and details on performances. Remember to tag all your photos #ChristmasWonderlandSG.
