DIY VIDEO: How to make Fluffy Slime at home!

Hello there, so if you have primary school-age kids, you will know that there is an ongoing trend on DIY slime. My 10-year-old got into the slime action and was actively experimenting and making different types of slime – Fluffy Slime, Glitter Slime, Clear Slime, basically any kind of slime you can think of.

What I love about this process is her personal motivation and self-learning attitude. She did all the research online on how to make slime and tutored herself by watching videos – her favorite is Smelly Belly. Then she would experiment on her own with different types of solutions until she was succeeded in creating her own slime. That’s hours of practice!

So one afternoon, her brother’s friend Humza popped over for his afternoon playdate with my son as he usually does, and saw the slime she created. He thought it was so cool that he commissioned her to make one for him. You heard right – first paid commission!!

This triggered big brother Krysh, who was dabbling in video production to make a video of this process. This became their June school holiday project – Slime making and video production!

Check out this first video on How to Make Fluffy Slime at home – Asian edition. It is really easy, safe, and fun for the kids.

This is the kids’ first foray into video production. It is a video conceptualized and produced by the kids for kids in Singapore and we hope, Asia. It took some experimentation and learning curve time for them to put the video together. The kids have kept the video short, and the professionals we asked to review them commended say they were good. So, we hope you like them too.
