Guide: 15+ Best Spots To Watch Fireworks In Singapore!

Do you love FIREWORKS as much as we do? If so, there is usually a firework display on these occasions — Chinese New Year (Jan/Feb), National Day (9 August) or the eve of the New Year (31 December).

In preparation for our National Day celebration, there are usually up to eight rehearsals prior to the actual National Day Parade. Each parade always ends with mini fireworks. The rehearsals take place on weekends prior to the actual National Day. Whether you are a fireworks fan or planning a special occasion for your loved ones, here are the best spots in Singapore to watch these fireworks.

1) The Promontory @ Marina Bay

If you can’t squeeze into The Promontory, The Lawn@ Marina Bay is a nice alternative. It is a small piece of land next to the Marina Bay Financial Centre (see the map). Bring a mat and picnic basket with some wine, cheese, and crackers to keep you and your companions in a good mood while you wait for the fireworks to start.

2) Clifford Pier Square and Clifford Pier Area

The Clifford Square and Clifford Pier Area house the Fullerton  Pavillion, the Fullerton Bay Hotel and the One Fullerton stretch.

Not a big fan of crowds, hang out with friends at these destinations or make reservations at restaurants that offer prominent views of the fireworks! Book a table at any of the waterfront dining and entertainment destinations along the Pier area. Most of the eateries have alfresco areas that offer a stunning view of the Marina Bay developments, including the new Marina Bay Financial Centre. That also means that if weather permitting, you get a clear view of the fireworks while comfortably seated at your dining establishments. Reservations are usually required.
