Today the kids at Two by Two Schoolhouse, a mandarin-based kindergarten in the East Coast of Singapore where my daughter attends, said goodbye to their school at Jalan Saudara Ku.
But its a happy goodbye as the kids, teachers and staff officially move in to their new and bigger premise at Eastgate ( 46 East Coast Rd, #01-03).
The teachers had thoughtfully prepared the students for the move, even teaching them a “moving school” song some weeks prior to the move. As part of the official moving ceremony (and to acclimatize the children to the move), the school charted a bus to ferry the children from the old premise to the new. So, it was with much excitement and anticipation that the kids arrive at their new school.
One chapter closed and another opens. Here are some footage of the move…

Arriving at the entrance of their new school. Parents were already waiting there to greet their children and officiate the entry into the new premise of Two by Two Schoolhouse.

Colourful wall murals, specially selected toys, ample space and warm environment makes Two by Two Schoolhouse conducive for optimal learning.
Two by Two Schoolhouse is celebrating its official Grand Opening at Eastgate, Katong this Saturday, 19 May (10am – 2pm). Do drop by to check out the school! There will also be balloon sculpting, face painting, games & craft stalls for your little ones to enjoy.
Watch this corporate video for a better idea on the school.
